A Different Place

An uncertain Evelyn arrives at a hotel room. While getting herself ready for a night out, she calls her husband to make sure everything is OK at home. She lies about seeing ‘the girls’, keeping the truth of who she is meeting a secret, then hangs up the phone with a forced ‘I love you too'. Despite reservations about how she looks, Evelyn heads to the hotel bar, where she nervously waits until she is joined by Cleo, a younger woman who exudes a confidence that Evelyn can only dream of. They share a drink, a smile, and an instant connection. Later, they return to the hotel room. Within those private walls, the rest of the world melts away. They spend an intimate time together, the kind of night that Evelyn has desired for as long as she can remember but never experienced until now. As the sun rises on a new day, Evelyn has a choice to make: return to the life she once had, or embrace her truth?
