Female stories are evolving - and so are the formats that bring them to life.

Vertical drama is one of the fastest-growing spaces in entertainment: emotionally addictive, cliffhanger-driven storytelling created specifically for mobile audiences. Short-form stories designed to be consumed quickly, and felt deeply.

The SheBuildsStories Vertical Drama Programme is calling bold female voices to a format that is still being invented. No more waiting. No more permission.

We want flawed women, impossible choices, messy relationships and the thoughts we are never supposed to say out loud. Stories that feel raw, intimate, specific, and impossible to stop watching.

Selected stories are developed together as one interconnected universe of female-driven storylines, told through short episodic chapters. Yours could be one of them.
