ABOUT
FILMPRIDE

Brighton and Hove’s LGBTQIA+ film festival, showcasing the work of independent filmmakers from all corners of the world.
Our festival is unique as, as well as our live events, we offer filmmakers the opportunity to be screened on our community, not-for-profit local TV channel in Brighton, Latest TV.
Latest TV is available on Freeview 7 and Virgin Media 159 in Brighton and the surrounding areas, so if your film is on our channel, it will be seen by thousands more!

In the past, we have hosted live events in various local venues such as The Latest MusicBar, Duke's at Komedia, The Ledward Centre, The Lighthouse, and as an integral part of Brighton & Hove Pride for three years. Last year, we also collaborated with Margate Pride to showcase a selection of our films as part of the Margate Film Festival.

In 2026, our events will take place during LGBT+ History Month.
We do not have premiere requirements.
We request that all our films are provided with English subtitles, for accessibility purposes.
